Lightning touched down on the sky fox meeting area and knocked on the door. A voice from inside said " Come in. " Lightning entered through the back door , where he kenw his friends would be hiding , watching the meeting. From a tiny crack , they could tell that all the leaders of the fox clans were gathered, exept for the storm foxes . ' Hmmm, that is strange " thought Lightning.

Chapter 3: Stinky plants
"Great," thought Lightning."I'm stuck on the worst mission of my life." Lightning was hiding behind a tiny cliff, nestled into some plants. It was night-half, and the sky was dark and foggy. Sky foxes didn't normally go spying on other clans because they felt it was invading their privacy. But since the attack on the sleeping holes a couple hours ago, Hrothtail had sent out at least six other spies to find out what the enemy was doing.
A group of water foxes were talking only a few paw steps above Lightning. Sleektail, the leader of the water foxes, was asking one of the trainers a question.
"So when do you think we should attack them?"
For a while, they were silent. They seemed to hear some rustling from below them. Lighting was moving around in the plants because they stank. The water foxes could hear the noise. They turned around again and the other fox said, " Tomorrow."
The plants, which Lightning seemed to be allergic to, made him feel like he had a head cold. His nose started to twitch. Mousedung! he thought. Lightning sneezed.
The foxes looked around as they heard the same noise . They turned around and saw Lighting flying into the air.
"What was that?" Sleektail said, startled. His eyes opened as wide as a owl's.
"Oh, it was probably just a bird," said the trainer.
Time to tell Hrothtail about the enemy's plan, thought Lightning as he disappeared into the fog.
Sleektail smirked. "If only those sky foxes knew our real plan," he said.

Shattered Storm Chapter 2: Unexpected Delays
Foxes of all ages gathered around Hroftail. Lightning sat next to Kane, his trainer. Kane was dumping mushrooms and mouse fritters on his rock of food.
Hroftail started off the feast with an announcement. "I am glad that you are all here.'' He said,'' This is a wonderful celebration and I am glad you could all make—" His speech was cut off by the water fox leader, Sleektail.
"Sorry to interrupt, skypoops, but I have got territory to invade. Go on, don't mind me," mocked Sleektail. Kane and the rest of the warriors and patrollers sprang into action. Flame picked up a warrior from the water fox army and flew him away. He dropped the warrior off the mountain. Lightning kicked a enemy patroller and sent him flying. The warriors and patrollers raced inside to get their helmets, battle claws, and armor. Lightning secretly snuck away into the caves. Hroftail was being attacked by Sleektail. Seconds later, a group of blue foxes charged out of the caves, with Lightning at the helm. The diamond foxes drove the water foxes away.

Shattered Storm, Chapter One: Feast of Clouds
Lightning flew around in the air, his helmet close to toppling off. He was one of the sky fox patrollers. His russet brown fur flew back in the wind. This could only mean one thing. A storm fox was coming. The storm fox clan was known for controlling the weather with the storm stone, a emerald with magical powers. A large shadow covered the land beneath Lightning. It appeared to be crossing the yelmich, a line of scents used as a border.
"Stop!" shouted Lightning. The strange fox bolted. These were the perks to being a patrol fox. "That storm fox must have wanted to steal our prey," he thought. Suddenly, Lightning realized that he was late for the feast of clouds, a logit celebration. Logit meant harvest. He flew back to Skyrush Mountain. When he got back, he watched the pumpkin-foods being prepared.
There were appetizers for foxes who were hungry. Lightning checked to see what they had, because he liked mushroom the most. There were boiled pumpkin bits, mushrooms, and mice fritters. The drinks were water, firewater, egg yoke, and mudwater. The leader, Hrothtail, summoned them in for the feast.

Elemental Foxes: What are Elemental Foxes?
Try to imagine a forest, then a steep, rocky cliff that leads to a huge, deep valley that no one has ever gotten to the bottom of. Then imagine the tallest mountains, in a deep ocean surrounded by forests of thorns and waterfalls. The sky foxes live on those mountains. Next, venture up the tallest trees to the tree foxes, and go all the way to the bottom to find the earth foxes. Run across a trail of obsidian to find the fire foxes in their volcano. Not far off, there is a vast tundra where the snow foxes live, and a huge swamp that the water foxes call home. Inside the deep caves of the catacombs, the storm foxes control the weather of the world. These are the Elemental foxes, and these stories tell their destiny.
